Fr. Mike is currently an associate professor in the Department of Communication and Media Studies in Fordham University in New York City, where he has been teaching film and television studies since 1995. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1971. Over the years, Fr. Teuth has conducted over 100 retreats and workshops at colleges, parishes, and retreat centers throughout the United States and Canada. From 1987 to 1994, he served as Executive Director of the Sacred Heart Program, the international Jesuit radio and television apostolate in St. Louis. During that time he also was the director and host for the program’s nationally syndicated television show, The Jesuit Journal, as well as a producer and director of several non-broadcast videotaped productions. He appeared as the host of the popular catechetical videotape series, What catholics Believe, produced and distributed by Ligouri Productions. Fr. Teuth taught for ten years on the faculty of Regis University in Denver and has also taught at Loyola University of Chicago, Georgetown Unoversity, Santa Clara University, and the University of Maryland. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Loyola University of Chicago and Loyola Productions, the Jesuit media production center at Loyola-Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is also contributing reviews of books, films, and theater for America magazine and has published several articles on the mass media as well as a book on television comedy entitled Laughter in the Living Room.

Women’s Lenten Retreat. Lent: A Time of Conversion
Friday, March 11 – Sunday, March 13 “Lent: A Time of Conversion” presented by Susan Stabile. Lent is an invitation to conversion. It is a time to reexamine the orientation of our lives and deepen our commitment to living a life of the Spirit, modeled on the life of Christ. This retreat will invite you to deepen your understanding of the conversion to which you are invited and help you to commit yourself to orienting your life more and more toward Christ so that you may be His love in the world. As part of your journey, you will be considering the lives of some of the women whose own acceptance of the invitation to conversion can be a model and inspiration for you.
Susan Stabile is a law professor at St. Thomas University School of Law where she also serves as a fellow of the Holloran Center for Ethical Leadership and offers retreats and other programs of spiritual formation for students, faculty, staff and alumni as well as other groups in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. She speaks and writes extensively about questions concerning Catholic Social Thought and the law and is an Associate Senior Fellow of the Vincentian Center of Church and Society at St. John’s University. Susan is a spiritual director and served as a staff associate at St. Ignatius Jesuit Retreat House prior to her move to Minneapolis. $270 private; $235 semi-private and $200 commuter
